Wines To Find: episode about Wine Travel Awards

USA

Sisters, Sandy & Michelle, hosts of the Wines to Find podcast, invited Oleksandra Hryhorieva, WTA Project Lead, to talk about the Wine Travel Awards. In the episode, they discussed WTA nominees, partners and opportunities the project provides for its community members.

Everyone finds their place in the WTA: from big chateaux working with rather a closed community through buyers and wine futures (Château Smith Haut Lafitte, Château Pape Clément, Château Lascombes), brands that do not have an actual location (Franz Wilhelm Langguth Erben, 46 Parallel Wine Group) to local tour operators and wine museums from Moldova, France or Armenia.

Oleksandra introduced nominees from Armenia, providing as examples the GuideMASTER Wine Tour Guide Program, last year’s winner in Cultural Mission, the Wines of Armenia e-shop and the Wines of Armenia mobile application, as well as the Vine and Wine Foundation of Armenia.

From Moldova, Cricova winery and a few inbound and outbound tour operators, Visit Moldova, Moments & Travel, Ways Travel, were mentioned.

Ukraine is also supported and presented in the WTA, not only in the nominations, but in multiple events, presentations and tastings organized by the WTA team in the framework of world’s leading wine exhibitions. In the conversation with Sandy & Michelle, Oleksandra highlighted Beykush Winery from the Mykolaiv region, SHABO Family Winery from the Odesa region, and Stakhovsky Wines from Zakarpattya.

And there are so many more nominees’ stories and WTA opportunities to share, so we will continue to proudly present the WTA community! We thank Sandy & Michelle for this invitation and warm conservation.
