122 Burgundy Wines Receive the Tastevinage Seal
The 118th edition of Tastevinage took place on September 11, 2026, at the Château du Clos de Vougeot. The autumn session was held under the patronage of author and historian Azélina Jaboulet-Vercherre.

A total of 151 tasting judges from the wine industry gathered to select the Burgundy wines considered most representative of their appellations and vintages from among 397 wines presented. In the final selection, 122 wines were awarded the Tastevinage seal – just 30.73% of the wines submitted.
The winning wines represent 48 regional appellations, 40 village appellations and 34 Premier Cru and Grand Cru appellations. The complete list of the 118th edition’s laureates has been published on the official Tastevinage website.
This summer, the Drinks+ and Wine Travel Awards teams, together with everyone who joined our journey through Burgundy, had the opportunity to visit several of the estates and houses whose wines have now received the Tastevinage seal, including Maison Albert Bichot and Maison Patriarche Père & Fils.
Tastevinage was first held at the Château du Clos de Vougeot in 1950. The official Tastevinage timeline notes that a second annual session was introduced in 1986, while the Tastevinage website also records the creation of the official Tastevinage medal in 2005.
