Castel Mimi: one of the top tourist attractions in Moldova

Castel Mimi is a private company, which after the reconstruction (the largest renovation project in the country) opened its doors to visitors in 2016. It is included in the Wine Road of Moldova, which is the first cultural-tourist route certified by the Council of Europe as part of ITER VITIS Les Chemins de La Vigne en Europe.

The wine resort includes different tourist establishments:

  • Restaurant “The White Owl” has a capacity of 100 seats. 
  • The “Wine party room” features long tables, comfortable sofas and a wine bar and is open to all Castel Mimi visitors. It is also available to hire as a party venue for groups of up to 60 people. This Bar is the perfect location to enjoy a glass of wine, take a coffee or sample some of the best traditional food Moldova has to offer.
  • When visiting our “Wine and coffee time” bar, guests can relax in comfy window-side sofas, sit at the bar or take a table. Whatever your choice you will be astounded by the amazing views whilst you enjoy our menu of top Moldovan wines, hot and cold drinks
  • Castel Mimi boutique hotel is a 5-star resort which includes seven unique bungalows built with stone and designed by the world-famous Italian designer Arnaldo Tranti. 
  • Swimming Pool – an Olympic-sized swimming pool, 25 meters long and ideal to spend some quality time during the hot days of summer. Our outdoor swimming pool is set within the luxurious and relaxing atmosphere of the Castel Mimi resort. It is the only pool in Moldova with underwater music and allows guests to swim with the added extra relaxation of classical music. In addition to the Olympic-sized pool, you will also find a children’s pool, and an open-air bar with drinks, food and snacks made from fresh, natural ingredients. Our pool is built with the highest quality materials and latest generation technologies to satisfy world class standards. Ozone water treatment is used to create a healthy and safe environment for all of the family.

Castel Mimi has a 5-star hotel infrastructure, which includes 7 unique stone houses with individual names: Vanilla; Ruby; Pale Pink; Cherry; Plums; Citrus; Saffron. The fusion between local traditions and modern architectural elements has allowed the creation of comfortable, elegant and intimate spaces. Every room in the hotel offers a guest desk, room safe, hair dryer. Coffee and tea makers, digital TV, free WI-FI and air conditioning (or winter heating) are available.
