Dali Universe in Porto: a large-scale exhibition at the Atkinson Museum (WOW Porto)

From June 19 to October 31, 2025, the Atkinson Museum, part of the World of Wine Porto cultural complex, will host a grand exhibition, Dali Universe, one of the largest exhibitions dedicated to the genius of surrealism, Salvador Dali. World of Wine is a nominee and winner of the Wine Travel Awards and the recipient of the special Drinks+ Editor’s Choice Award from the Drinks+ Communicative Media Group. This year, World of Wine became a sponsor of the prize fund for the influencers and ambassadors award. This year’s winners in these categories received certificates of invitation to the Wine School where you can explore a variety of tastings, pairings, workshops, and internationally recognized WSET courses – perfect for both curious beginners and seasoned wine lovers.

Dali Universe

Visitors to Dali Universe will be able to see over 200 works by the genius: drawings, sketches, paintings, sculptures, collages, glass and gold objects, as well as commercial projects by the artist that are rarely exhibited in public. Some of the exhibits come from private collections, making this a unique opportunity to see rare works firsthand.

A special highlight of the exhibition will be the photographic archive of Salvador Dali from 1955 to 1985. A series of personal photographs of Dali by his close friend and photographer Robert Descharnes will be presented publicly for the first time. The artist’s son, Nicolas Descharnes, participated in the curatorial work to give the exhibition a more intimate and authentic character.

  • Opening hours: daily from 10:00 to 19:00 (last admission at 18.15).
