Bollicine del mondo-2024 – a guide to the world of pearl bubbles

The Bollicine del mondo app, created by Identità Golose, is a journey through the universe of sparkling wines, which in its third edition covers 740 wineries (115 more than in 2023) from 39 countries.

The creators of the world’s first app about sparkling wine – Bollicine del mondo, which is a Wine Travel Aawards nominee, presented their digital guide for the third time and offered special awards to the winners of the nominations.

The  free universal app is available in Italian and English for wine lovers and for all those who love to travel with the aim of discovering  the treasures of culinary and wine culture. The Bollicine del mondo wine list is the joint effort of 16 wine experts and journalists.

The authors of the project are Cinzia Benzi, a wine and gastronomy expert and writer; Paolo Marchi, a gastronomic and wine critic, the founder and curator of Identità Golose, the first Italian congress of signature cuisine and confectionery; Andrea Grignaffini, a food and wine expert; Claudio Ceroni, the founder of Identità Golose and the president of the MAGENTA office.

Bollicine del mondo-2024 presents 27 itineraries including some of the most outstanding sparkling wine regions: Asti and Moscato, Irpinia, Trento Doc and Etna, Champagne, Alsace, Burgundy, Penedès, Chile and Argentina, as well as Napa Valley and Sonoma.

The online guide mentions the best producers: 53% are represented by Italy, 47% –  by winemakers from Europe and the rest of the world. The wine map of France in Bollicine del mondo-2024 embraces almost all the main wine-growing regions of the country: Champagne, Alsace, Burgundy, Loire and Jura – 30% of 47%; Other wineries are located in Spain, Great Britain, Germany, Austria, Albania, Romania, Greece, Portugal, Slovenia, Switzerland, Israel, Turkey, India, Argentina, Chile, Brazil, Canada, USA, Australia and New Zealand.

The new ones this year are: Belgium, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Malta, Lebanon, Indonesia, Mexico and Vietnam. Among the presented wineries, predominate those that use the classic method of sparkling wine production, as well as the production of Pet Nat.
