The biggest wine fest of Moldova invites Ukrainian wineries to participate
The National Wine Day of Moldova, a Wine Travel Awards 2021-2022 nominee, is, by far, the biggest wine event in the region. This year’s event will be held on October 1-2 at the Great National Assembly Square in Chisinau. To demonstrate solidarity with Ukraine, the organizers invite Ukrainian wineries to participate. Ukrainian winemakers will be given a special stand where they will be able to present their wines.
The National Wine Day, organized by the National Office of Vine and Wine of Moldova , was founded 21 years ago. During the two days of the event, tourists and wine lovers from all over the world have the opportunity to taste amazing wines from over 60 Moldovan wine producers in the heart of the country’s capital and enjoy lots of fun activities.This year’s Wine Day program includes the Golden Barrel Awards ceremony to be held by the Moldovan Chamber of Commerce and Industry, as well as lots of tastings, lectures and workshops at the event’s Wine School. Entertainment will include craft and art master classes, live music and DJs.
