SHABO — 5 Medals in Berlin!
Once again, the wines of the Ukrainian company SHABO, a nominee for the Wine Travel Awards, have won in the international arena. To join the applause, we invite all fans to add likes to the SHABO Family Winery — Wine Travel Awards voting for this already famous company.
At the winter session in Berlin during the DWM Wine Trophies, one of the world’s most rigorous wine competitions, Odesa won five medals at once, four of them gold.
It is worth noting that Deutsche Wein Marketing has been setting the standards for international wine competitions for over 25 years. The following events are held under this brand: Asia Wine Trophy, Berlin-summer tasting, Berlin-winter tasting, Portugal Wine Trophy. All tastings are held not only under the patronage of the OIV, but also under the auspices of the International Union of Oenologists (UIOE) and notarized supervision. Thus, DWM competitions are considered to be among the most strictly controlled in the world. There is even a limited participation quota: the maximum number of registrations is 7,000 per event. At the same time, almost 700 expert jury members (winemakers, oenologists, “wine masters”, importers and other industry professionals) are involved. Thus, winning any DWM competition is considered one of the highest recognitions among professionals.
