Spring and Summer with Richard Bampfield MW – Tastings and Festivals
Renowned Master of Wine and Wine Travel Awards judge Richard Bampfield MW continues to actively promote wine culture across Europe.
In spring 2025, he hosted an exclusive Albert Bichot wine tasting in Birmingham, showcasing 12 vintages from 2020 and 2022. Guests had the opportunity to gain deeper insight into the characteristics of the region’s appellations, villages, and terroirs.
During the summer, Richard played a key role at the prestigious Edinburgh Uncorked 2025 festival, where, alongside Diana Thompson from Wine Events Scotland, he presented a diverse range of wines, conducted masterclasses, and shared his expertise with a wide audience – from beginners to connoisseurs. Diana Thompson acted as co-organizer and host of the event, guiding guests through tastings and helping them discover new flavors.
These events further confirm Richard Bampfield’s status as a respected expert and recognized ambassador of the world of wine.
