WildChina Celebrates 25th Anniversary and Expands Travel Offerings in China

China

In the summer of 2025, leading Chinese tour operator WildChina celebrated its 25th anniversary. During a visit to its Chengdu office, founder Mei Zhang shared her perspective on the company’s development, noting that its strength lies in local guides, their knowledge, and close connections with communities, which make the trips engaging and authentic.

WildChina is a nominee for the Wine Travel Awards and a recipient of the special Judge’s Choice Award, recognizing its contribution to wine and culinary tourism in China.

To celebrate the anniversary, the company launched new signature itineraries, including expeditions through Biluo Snow Mountain in Yunnan and cultural tours in lesser-known regions such as Liaoning, and updated its selection of luxury trips. WildChina now offers Yangzi River cruises on the Yangzi Explorer, a vessel that recently returned to service after refurbishment.

In addition, the company’s summer newsletters highlighted new direct China Eastern flights between China and Europe and simplified visa and transit procedures for international travelers, making trips to China more accessible and convenient.
