Tenuta Manoylo Welcomes the Harvest: A Celebration of Craft and Heritage

Italy

Tenuta Manoylo has entered its most anticipated season: the start of the 2024 harvest!

The vineyard’s cherished white grape varieties, Passerina and Pecorino, are being carefully hand-harvested under the guidance of expert winemakers, marking the beginning of their transformation into exceptional wines. As the winery embarks on this pivotal season, they extend heartfelt wishes for a successful harvest to their fellow wineries in the Marche region.

But that’s not all that’s happening at Tenuta Manoylo. While the white grapes are now in production, the estate’s black varietals – Sangiovese, Grenache, Syrah, Merlot, and Petit Verdot – are in the final stages of ripening. These grapes, working hard to reach optimal ripeness and flavor, will soon be ready to continue the magic of the harvest.

In the midst of this busy season, Tenuta Manoylo invites wine lovers to visit their vineyards and witness the action firsthand. Visitors can walk through their scenic pastoral vineyards, explore the sustainable grape-growing methods used at the estate, and learn about the indigenous varieties cultivated here. The winery also offers cellar tours, where guests can see the unique vulcanelli amphorae made from Marche’s volcanic clay – an essential part of the winemaking process that enhances the distinct terroir characteristics of their wines.

As Tenuta Manoylo continues to explore innovative winemaking techniques and expand their presence, they are poised to make an even greater impact on the global wine industry. Keep an eye out for their story in the upcoming Wine Travel Awards Guide, as we finalize coverage of the 2023-2024 campaign.
