Fattoria La Maliosa Opens a New Winery Facility and Expands Its Wine Tourism Programme

Italy

Organic Tuscan estate Fattoria La Maliosa, located in the Maremma region, officially inaugurated its new winery facility on 18 July 2026. The opening celebration brought together wine lovers and guests for an exhibition by artist Nina Eaton, tastings of the estate’s natural wines, and a music programme featuring DJ Filippo Paoletti, marking a new milestone in the estate’s commitment to sustainable wine production and wine tourism.

Fattoria La Maliosa, a Wine Travel Awards 2025–2026 nominee, was recently announced as the Voting Winner in the Progressive Approach category. Commenting on the recognition, founder Antonella Manuli thanked everyone who supported the estate during the public voting, describing the award as an acknowledgment of La Maliosa’s long-standing commitment to sustainable agriculture, hospitality and wine tourism – values that have shaped the estate’s philosophy since its foundation.

“The Wine Travel Awards are a special recognition for us because they were awarded by the public , who chose to support and reward our vision of agriculture, hospitality, and wine tourism,” explains Antonella Manuli.

Throughout the summer, the estate is also hosting a series of wine tourism experiences. As part of the Open Vineyards: Sorsi e Pennelli programme, visitors can combine natural wine tastings with painting workshops set among the vineyards. On 7 August, La Maliosa will host Calici di Stelle, offering guests an evening of natural wines and traditional Maremma cuisine under the Tuscan night sky.

Located near Saturnia in Tuscany’s Maremma, Fattoria La Maliosa spans approximately 170 hectares of vineyards, olive groves and farmland managed according to organic principles. The estate produces natural wines, extra virgin olive oil and continues to develop wine tourism as one of the core elements of its identity.
