AdVINEtures: they try to alive the excitement felt when visiting fascinating places

Canada

Chris & Allison Wallace are founders of AdVINEtures. It is an award-winning blog, which is dedicated to share the stories and experience from the couple`s travels and the wines tasted along the way. It’s easy to figure out that the founders are avid lovers of both travel and wine from the blog. In fact, they have visited more than 85 countries and tasted wines from across the globe. They will tell you about the wines they encounter with a background about the region, the grapes, tasting notes, and of course, the people who make the wine. The aim is to bring alive the excitement felt when visiting fascinating places through telling winemaker and winery stories accompanied by high quality photos and videos.

Allison is the VP, Communications & CSR for the Flight Centre Travel Group (www.flightcentre.ca), a regular travel contributor for CTV, and a published author and photographer.

As for Chris, he is a former Private Equity Fund Manager and is a published author on www.seekingalpha.com & www.Investedcentral.com. Both have attained WSET (Wine & Spirit Education Trust) Level 2 certificates, along with Canadian Wine Scholar designations (CWS). In 2018, AdVINEtures was named a finalist for the Millesima Blog Awards and was shortlisted for a Born Digital Wine Award in 2019.

AdVINEtures is pleased to accept the submission of wine samples as well as wine and food-related products for editorial consideration. Reviews may appear on their blog, which if published would also be featured on one or more of our social media platforms including Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter. The Wallaces accept invitations to review vineyards, wineries, wine tasting and trade events, travel destinations, restaurants, wine bars and invitations to judge wine competitions. They also personally purchase wine and related products for review. All reviews are based on personal opinion though they try to be as objective as possible. Their rating system provides a range versus a specific number to give the audience an understanding of quality level by their tastes.
