BEST UK SOMMELIER — VILLA SANDI AWARD
The morning session will begin at 10 am and will involve sommeliers participating in an initial written test and blind wine tasting. The three sommeliers with the best results will be selected as finalists. In the afternoon, the finalists will be invited to perform on stage and compete for the title of Best Sommelier UK.
The stage show will feature a series of exciting and engaging challenges among the three sommeliers, showcasing their skills and impeccable style to the audience and judges.
The jury, comprised of journalists, sommeliers, wine buyers, former champions, Masters of Wine, Master Sommeliers, members of the Italian Sommelier Association, and the UK Sommelier Association, will decide the winner, who will be announced on stage.
WALKAROUND TASTING
The walkaround tasting will span the entire day and extend into the evening, ensuring that all industry professionals have ample opportunities to participate.
This event provides a unique platform for producers and sponsors to connect with a diverse range of professionals, including sommeliers, importers, wine buyers, and hospitality professionals. It offers an ideal setting for promoting their wine portfolios and fostering valuable ‘business-to-business’ relationships.

Throughout the day, we will host educational Masterclasses dedicated to our event’s partners. These Masterclasses, led by renowned Masters of Wine, are designed to cater to industry professionals eager to delve deeper into the intricacies of specific regions, countries, or grape varieties.
