The first National sponsor of the project, Franz Wilhelm Langguth Erben GmbH & Co. KG, was introduced during the Wine Travel Awards presentation at the professional forum Wine&Spirits Ukraine.
Seven generations of the Langguth family were living and working in the wine world. Today, similarly to Mosel being is one of the oldest wine-growing regions in Germany, F.W. Langguth Erben is one of the most reputable wineries in Germany, renowned as a pioneer in modern international trade. Located in the heart of Europe, F.W. Langguth Erben creates wines from grapes from its own vineyards located in the famous German wine regions: Rheinhessen and Mosel.
For nearly 70 years, the company was managed by one of the patriarchs of German winemaking, Wolfgang Langgut. In the 60s, he witnessed the company’s embarking on the path from a winery in Mosel River valley towards internationalization. At the same time, the company’s philosophy was formed: innovations in production and marketing to create stable high-quality wines and a strong brand, fast deliveries to customers around the world, preserving traditions in combination with modern environment-friendly approaches to grape growing and wine production technologies.
New grape varieties, new technologies, a new global market, new wines – Langguth has been developing and maintaining its position as a quality supplier in this global market for over 200 years. The product range includes traditional brands such as Erben®, BlueNUN®, Medinet® as well as innovative brands like Villa W. or Sontino® Organic-Vegan. The task that the company has at all times set for itself: to make Langguth Erben brands successful on all continents. Currently, F.W. Langguth Erben is one of the leading wine producers in Germany and its brands are sold all over the world in over 100 countries.
