BKWine Opens the 2026 Wine Travel Season

BKWine begins the 2026 wine travel season with an extensive international program spanning both hemispheres. The year opens in January with a two-week tour through Argentina and Chile, followed by South Africa in February and New Zealand in March. All Southern Hemisphere tours for 2026 were fully booked well in advance, and preliminary reservations are already open for the 2027 editions.
Alongside its long-haul destinations, BKWine has announced two flagship European tours scheduled for autumn 2026, focusing on three of France’s most iconic wine regions: Bordeaux, Burgundy, and Champagne.
Bordeaux Wine Tour
13–19 September 2026
This six-night luxury tour offers an in-depth exploration of Bordeaux, one of the world’s most prestigious wine regions. Led by award-winning wine experts, the itinerary includes visits to renowned appellations such as the Médoc, Saint-Émilion, and Sauternes.
Participants will experience a carefully curated balance between Grand Cru Classé estates and high-quality family-owned properties, providing insight into both classical heritage and contemporary winemaking. Private tastings and multi-course gourmet lunches hosted at châteaux are a key feature of the program. The group is based in Bordeaux city, staying in a four-star hotel with time allocated to explore the city’s UNESCO-listed architecture and culinary scene.
The Burgundy & Champagne Grand Tour
23 September – 1 October 2026
This nine-day itinerary combines two of France’s most distinctive terroirs. The tour begins in Burgundy with four nights in Beaune, including vineyard walks and tastings across the Côte d’Or, with a focus on Grand Cru pinot noir and chardonnay.
After a stop in Chablis, the journey continues to Champagne for four nights in Reims. The Champagne program emphasizes small, high-quality grower-producers alongside selected historic houses, offering a comprehensive view of the region’s diversity. Daily expert-led tastings are paired with gastronomic lunches at estates and regional restaurants.
