Ágnes Németh shares the final results of the 5th WebWineWriting

Hungary

Ágnes Németh, WTA nominee in the Author of the Year category, Wine & Food Influencers nomination, is the brain behind Hungarian WebWineWriting – a contest that has moved wine writers from India to Greece in the past 4 years. Being a Hungarian wine writer, the launch of the contest devoted to the field Ágnes is passionate about became a natural and quite important result of the work.

The competition is not exclusively about Hungarian wines, the topics are broader. A novelty of this year was a video category added to the list. The award ceremony took place last week (25 August) at Pannonhalma Archabbey Winery in Hungary, within a wine event with 20 estates.

At this annual summer wine contest first renowned jury members evaluated the articles and selected the finalists, then the readers and viewers could vote for their favourites – with this double system the winners are not only good writers but also great influencers. Jury included experts like Rose Murray Brown MW, Wojciech Bonkowski and Charlie Arturaola.

This year 61 entries have been submitted from several countries: Hungary, Poland, Sweden, Spain, Italy, the USA and the United Kingdom. This is the high time to get to know the winners!
