Wine Paris & Vinexpo Paris 2024: Essential numbers
In 2024, Drinks+ & Wine Travel Awards continues its fruitful and active cooperation with Wine Paris & Vinexpo Paris. This year, Wine Paris & Vinexpo Paris was nominated for the Wine Travel Awards in the Event of the Year category. The exhibition took place from February 12 to 14, 2024 and reached new heights, exceeding all expectations of the organizers.
The fifth edition of Europe’s leading trade fair, Wine Paris & Vinexpo Paris, has become one of the most important events in the industry’s business calendar and the first major international event of the year, attracting a record number of exhibitors (4,070 from 48 countries, +53% international participants compared to last year’s show) and visitors (41,253 from 139 countries, +30% key buyers compared to last year’s event).
The largest number of visitors came from France, followed by Italy, Belgium, the UK, the USA, Germany, the Netherlands, Spain, Canada, and Switzerland. Of these, 47% were importers and distribution; 18% retail, supermarkets, e-commerce, duty-free trade; 12% manufacturers, 10% HoReCa; 13% media and government representatives.
Wine Paris & Vinexpo Paris was held under the patronage of the President of the French Republic, Mr. Emmanuel Macron. The exhibition was attended by representatives of three French ministries and 27 ambassadors from different countries, including the United States, Italy, Portugal, Japan, Austria, Spain, China, New Zealand and Australia.
More than 100 events, seminars, tastings and conferences were held as part of Wine Paris & Vinexpo Paris. La Nouvelle Vague, an exclusive platform designed for young producers in the wine industry with less than 5 years of experience, attracted great interest from visitors. The event was also organized with the help of AI.
This major event, now in its fifth year, has broken all previous records and confirmed its reputation as the epicenter for business and all stakeholders in the wine and spirits industry worldwide. In 2025, from February 10 to 12, Paris is waiting for you again!
