Ijevan Wine-Brandy Factory Expands Production and Strengthens Its Role as a Leader of Armenian Winemaking
One of Armenia’s oldest and most respected producers, Ijevan Wine-Brandy Factory, continues to expand its vineyards and production facilities while preserving the traditions that define the country’s winemaking heritage. The company is a nominee and the Voting Winner of the Wine Travel Awards in the category “The Visiting Card of the Country / Progressive Approach,” a recognition that highlights its contribution to promoting Armenian wine culture on the international stage.

According to the company’s official website, the winery and distillery – located in the town of Ijevan, Tavush region – is undergoing a new phase of modernization in 2025. The factory is introducing advanced winemaking technologies, enlarging its vineyards, and improving grape-processing capacities to ensure even higher quality and consistency across its wines and brandies.
In August 2025, Ijevan Wine-Brandy Factory welcomed a delegation of representatives from Armenia’s agricultural and processing industries as part of a national program aimed at developing horticulture and fruit production. During the visit, the factory showcased its sustainable production practices and initiatives to preserve native Armenian grape varieties.
Thanks to its continuous innovation and commitment to quality, the company remains a nominee of the Wine Travel Awards 2025-2026 in the category Progressive Approach / Visiting Card of the Country – a recognition that highlights its contribution to both Armenia’s wine industry and enotourism.
