Charity Gastro Dinners. A mission that must continue
Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of our land by the enemy, a team of tireless chefs, namely the Culinary Association and the community of chefs from Ukraine, Poland, Moldova, Romania, Azerbaijan and Georgia, began organizing charitable events in support of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
To date, 21 gastro dinners have been held, events took place in 5 countries, 17 cities. The organizers try to make each event unforgettable they invite interesting guests, exhibit exclusive lots and, of course, prepare delicious dishes and treat the visitors with craft liquors. Every time, in every place, the chefs’ cause finds a response – they receive great support from local and international brands.
The main goal of the charity dinners is to raise funds for the urgent needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and other defense forces. With the proceeds, the team of chefs provides our fighters with vehicles, various drones, walkie-talkies, electronic warfare systems, generators, and other desperately needed items.
The largest amount was collected during a dinner in the city of Rivne – $ 570,000, the event took place almost on Christmas Eve – December 19, 2024. Currently, another dinner has taken place – in the city of Vinnytsia, the amount collected was 1,500,000 UAH. As always, the funds will go to the needs of those thanks to whom we have the opportunity to drink morning coffee and believe in Victory.
