Casa Ruffino Becomes a New Nominee in the Fifth Anniversary Wine Travel Awards
Italian winery Ruffino has joined the lineup of nominees for the fifth anniversary of the Wine Travel Awards with its historic estate, Casa Ruffino – Tenuta Poggio Casciano, located in the heart of Chianti. The Renaissance villa seamlessly combines centuries-old winemaking traditions with modern gastronomy and hospitality, offering visitors an immersive Tuscan experience.
Ruffino has also unveiled its new wine, Garzaia Bolgheri Superiore DOC 2023 – the first Bolgheri Superiore in the winery’s history, made exclusively from its own vineyards. The blend of Cabernet Franc and Merlot is aged 18 months in French oak barrels, highlighting the elegance and character of the prestigious Bolgheri region.
This release marks an important milestone for Ruffino, reinforcing the winery’s position among Tuscany’s finest producers and demonstrating its continued commitment to quality and innovation. Garzaia will be available from March 1, 2026.
