Founders’ Journey and Expertise
Helga and Victoria bring decades of combined experience in wine journalism, consulting, education, and international trade. Their approach combines professional strategy with personal passion, ensuring that every winery they work with receives tailored guidance to thrive globally.
Victoria Palinkash, co-founder and Director of VH Selection, brings over a decade of professional experience in wine marketing, B2B sales, and international trade fairs. A WSET-certified wine professional, she has a strong background in curating wine events and collective stands at world-renowned exhibitions, helping wineries define export strategies and increase visibility abroad. Her professional activities include speaking at industry forums and other events that bring together winemakers, importers, and industry experts. She has also held leadership positions in various companies within the wine and marketing sectors and has extensive experience in building partnership programs for wine brands. Prior to VH Selection, Victoria worked in leadership roles across wine hospitality and marketing in different countries, blending deep practical knowledge of wine with a strategic eye for international growth.
Helga (Olga) Pinevich-Todoriuk is a Ukrainian wine industry expert and international wine and beverage professional. She is the co-founder of VH SELECTION. Helga previously worked at a media company and Drinks+ magazine, one of the leading international publications on wine and spirits, where she contributed to content, analytics, and industry projects, and served as editor-in-chief. Her career also includes work with Wine Travel Awards, an international wine tourism and awards project, where she served as Global Community Manager, fostering global connections between participants and industry stakeholders. Helga is a jury member for both local and international wine competitions, including prestigious events such as Mundus Vini and Concours Mondial de Bruxelles (CMB). In her work, she combines deep expertise in marketing, content strategy, and industry analytics to support wineries and wine projects in their international growth and visibility.
