With over 10 years of experience in the wine industry, Sergiy Klimov plays a key role in the development and international promotion of Ukrainian wines. He is the author of Wines of Ukraine: The Untold Story, a book that explores the deep historical roots, terroirs, and winemaking traditions of modern Ukraine, bringing global attention to a largely underrepresented wine culture.
He is also the creator of an original educational wine game dedicated to Ukrainian wine, its history, grape varieties, and regions – an interactive format that combines learning, tasting, and friendly competition, further expanding public engagement with Ukrainian winemaking.
Sergiy is the owner of Uwines – a media and wine bar with Ukrainian wines that he opened in Kyiv in 2025.
