RO-Wine | The International Wine Festival of Romania #125
Taste of premium wines
RO-Wine is the only festival dedicated to premium and super premium wines. Every year the festival acquaints its visitors with wineries of Romania, Europe and other wine-growing regions of the world. Local and international restaurant owners and chefs, restaurant and bar managers, importers, retailers and distribution companies bring their iconic gourmet products to give the diners the opportunity to create unique wine pairings. A special area hosts cooking classes and other special events.
More than 5,000 wine lovers and HoReCa operators visit RO-Wine every year. About 90 Romanian and international manufacturers present their products.
Wine producers benefit of attractive commercial opportunities, locally, but also internationally.
The land of hope for wine lovers
In Romania there are around 200,000 Ha vineyards, it is among the top 10 in the world, and 5 in Europe. Its wine production is in top 13. Therefore, the festival is not only a great opportunity to get acquainted with international winemaking, but first of all to try the sunny wines of Romania. “I am convinced that in 20 years time, when people will talk about the excellence of Europe’s wines, Romania will be among the first three countries, alongside France and Italy!” says Marinela Ardelean, the organizer of RO-Wine Festival.

In 2024 RO-Wine will be held three times:
- April 20-24 in Cluj Napoca
- May 24-26 in Bucharest
- October 11-13 in Bucharest
RO-Wine will be greeting its visitors with a selection of premium and super premium wines and it also aims to implement in Romania the concept of “En primeur”.
The organizers of RO-Wine began publishing the RoWine Guide, which describes all the wines and wineries participating in the festival. Today the RoWine Guide is available in bookstores in Romania.
