Magari #159
Where Dreams Become Reality
Magari Estates is a boutique hotel nestled in a historic courtyard in the heart of Valpolicella and Soave vineyards. It was born from the shared passion of Matteo Fasoli – Verona local, hotelier, and winemaker whose family has been producing and exporting high quality wines from the Verona region since 1925, and the Pellegrino family, with their deep roots in Italian heritage and expertise in property development. Once a nobleman’s home from the 16th century, the villa has been transformed into a world-class private estate, blending the building’s rich history with a contemporary design inspired by the breathtaking countryside. Surrounded by rolling green valleys, terraced hills, and endless vineyards, Magari Estates invites guests to indulge in the region’s latest vintage and enjoy exclusive, invitation-only wine tastings with the finest local winemakers. This is a true gem for wine lovers seeking an unforgettable experience in one of Italy’s most renowned viticultural areas. Ideally located away from the crowds yet within easy reach of iconic destinations like Verona, Lake Garda, Milan, and Venice, Magari Estates is the perfect home base for your Italian adventure. Explore the elegance of Italian style, uncover UNESCO World Heritage sites, and wander through charming villages, while taking in stunning landscapes that stretch from the mountains to the sea.
Magic of wine at the Fasoli Gino
Just a ten-minute walk from Magari Estates, guests can visit the Fasoli Gino Winery and experience where the magic of wine begins. Founded in 1925, the winery has been producing wines using organic methods since 1984 and biodynamic methods since 2006. Visitors can explore the vineyards and barrel cellar, and enjoy tastings of the full range of organic wines in the charming Wine Shop. Set in the renovated former winery and fruit-drying loft, the space combines the rustic allure of its past with modern design, offering a unique atmosphere steeped in tradition. At Magari Estates, the historic wine cellar, dating back to the 16th century, offers a connection to the winery’s legacy. Tastings are available Monday to Saturday at 5pm, either at the Fasoli Winery or at the Hotel Cellar, accompanied by appetisers.
