A Digital Voice for Modern Wine Travel
Jas Rehan is an internationally active wine professional and Instagram wine communicator who combines formal wine education, judging experience, and consumer-focused storytelling. Through her platforms @wine.sasswithjas and @apoetsterroir, she translates complex wine knowledge into engaging digital content.
Alongside content creation, Jas works as a wine educator and tasting host, sharing her expertise with both students and wine consumers through structured tastings, events, and educational experiences.
From Marketing to the World of Wine
Jas combines digital storytelling with strong professional credentials. She is currently pursuing the WSET Diploma (Level 4), holds the WSET Level 3 certification, and completed the Italian Wine Brand Ambassador Program in Verona. She also serves as an Associate Wine Judge at the 5StarWines competition in Verona.
Before entering the wine world, Jas spent more than fourteen years in marketing and brand strategy, working with companies such as Pernod Ricard, Coca-Cola, and Tiger Beer. Today, that experience informs her ability to communicate wine in a way that is both informed and engaging for modern audiences.
Discovering Burgundy Beyond the Famous Labels
In June 2025, Jas travelled through Burgundy, one of the world’s most celebrated wine regions. Her journey focused on the Côte d’Or, exploring both the Côte de Nuits and Côte de Beaune — legendary vineyard areas that form part of the UNESCO-listed Climats of Burgundy.
Through a series of short-form videos, Jas documented the region from a traveller’s perspective, highlighting experiences essential to wine tourism. Her content featured insights from Beaune Tourism, the 10-year celebration of the Climats of Burgundy in Puligny-Montrachet, the historic Hospices de Beaune, and the immersive Cité des Climats et Vins de Bourgogne museum.
She also explored the famous Route des Grands Crus, while sharing recommendations for restaurants, tastings, and local experiences that bring Burgundy’s wine culture to life.
While Burgundy is known for its prestigious vineyards and sought-after wines, Jas focused on revealing the region’s deeper character. Her storytelling highlights the close relationship between wine, gastronomy, and everyday life in Burgundy.
Through practical tips and wine-buying insights, she encourages travellers to look beyond the most famous labels and discover exceptional value wines that express the region’s diversity.
