Reviews
«The Alivetaste event brings together the best of national gastronomy and wines. Its 9th edition featured 26 chefs from across the country and Madeira, more than 40 gastronomic creations, and 36 wine producers presenting 70 wines chosen with precision and passion. But what distinguishes Alivetaste is not only its prestigious lineup — it is its spirit. In a hurried and fragmented time, Alivetaste stands as a rare moment of wholeness. An ode to presence. A sensory manifesto that reminds us that true sophistication lies not in excess, but in attention. And it is this attention to detail, to others, to the moment — that makes this event not only memorable, but necessary. Because we increasingly need places where pleasure meets meaning. Where luxury is about reunion. Where wine knows how to listen. Where the table brings us back to what we are: beings made for sharing.»
«The event was attended by an eclectic mix of luminaries: international wine critics, Michelin-starred chefs, top sommeliers and luxury travel insiders. Alivetaste is more than a celebration of fine wine; it is a tribute to the terroir, the people, and the compelling stories that are shaping Portugal’s growing influence in gastronomy and luxury wine tourism.»
«Mário Rodrigues, the director of Alivetaste, is one of the best ambassadors of Portuguese gastronomy and wines.»
